About the Company

HPE was formed back in 1996 and operate out of a 12,000 SQ ft facility located in Greater Manchester, UK. They currently have 20 CNC machines and now have 5-Axis capabilities with their latest Hurco machining centre.

The company currently employs 20 skilled engineers and has recently installed a new state of the art inspection facility including 2 CMM machines and a Faro Arm. Alongside this, HPE have also invested in all new LED lighting throughout the building and are looking at investing in more machines.

Requirements

HPE has recently purchased NCG CAM to aid their 5-axis machining and since becoming familiar with the software have bought another 2 seats of NCG CAM to roll out across the shop-floor and are in the process of training all staff up on the programming.

Since using NCG CAM, HPE has found the following:

• NCG CAM is very easy to use and staff manage to pick up the basics very quickly.
• The Users have had great results with programming.
• The Users have found the toolpath strategies in NCG CAM to be very efficient.
